Family-owned institution since 1943, this famous and busy Southern restaurant serves ample lunches to guests at communal tables. Be prepared to wait in line up to an hour. Not a good idea for Tuesday, but better before or after the conference on Monday or Wednesday. It’s in the book, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die.
